OK Drifters, the Summer is coming and it’s that time again!

No, I don’t mean holidays, it’s competition time again.

Get your hands typing and mouse moving the cursor fevourishly across the desktop to hone that masterpiece you

always intended to write and show off your skills to all of our community.

The Timings

All entries in by Saturday 31st July 2010 at midnight BST

Judging opens Sunday 1st August 2010 at 1600 BST

Judging Ends Saturday 21st August 2010 at Midnight BST

Results announced Sun 22 Aug 10 1600 BST

The Prizes

The first prize is Fifty Pounds Sterling which can be paid either as Amazon vouchers OR via Paypal

There is an additional prize of Twenty Pounds Sterling to the entry that makes the best use of media (audio/graphics) in

the game.

The Rules

1. The game will be written using ADRIFT versions 3.90, 4 or 5 and be the original work of the named author(s). Use of

any copyright material(Including sound and graphics) is only allowed subject to clearance being obtained from the

copyright holder.

2. It must not have been released before except for the purpose of testing, but it may be an expanded version of an

entry in a mini comp.

3. Discussion of entries is allowed, but authors should not actively canvass for support.

     * This does not stop you using beta testers.

     * The author can provide help directly to players if they request it.

     * You may create a website to support your game(s) with information and background. (This could be a blog)

4. Authors may enter no more than two games in the competition

5. Contributors may also be judges, but must not judge their own entries.

6. If there are fewer than three entries the competition will be cancelled. 

7. Games may be passworded. If they are the password must be sent to the organiser
